VCA Abri Animal Hospital , in Cape May Court House NJ, is seeking a talented individual to join the team as a full time Veterinary Client Service Representative.

Experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Our hospital has been caring for the pets of Cape May County NJ for over 30 years.

Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent by delivering an outstanding client experience so we can provide exceptional care to every patient.

Whether you are a seasoned Veterinary Receptionist or Assistant, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in.

The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to :

  • Customer service functions, including : greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
  • Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
  • Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (, heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
  • Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
  • Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times both inside and outside.
  • Pharmacy and medication administration
  • Lab sample collection and processing
  • Diagnostic imaging
  • Medical recordkeeping
